Randolph Frazier Wiggins ’05

Randy is a manager with the Tech and Society Solutions Lab at Omidyar Network. He leads the team’s work designing investment frameworks and operations, manages venture deal pipelines and conducts research on emerging tech trends for future investment

Prior to joining the firm, Randy spent time in Shanghai and Beijing with leadership from Kohlberg, Kravis and Roberts and consulted on the impact of artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation on business, labor, education and society in China. As a technology consultant for the Council of Urban Professionals, Randy led efforts to revamp the organization’s website and membership portal to maximize user experience, engagement, and impact. In addition to this work, Randy supported hedge fund clients at Lehman Brothers, Inc. and served as a White House intern on the United States National Economic Council in the Obama administration.

Randy holds an A.B. from Princeton University, where he majored in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He holds a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he majored in the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. Randy is also an alumnus of the Gates Millennium Scholars Program, a Robert Toigo Foundation Fellow, an alumnus of Management Leadership for Tomorrow, and an alumni board member of the Council of Urban Professionals.
