Marquis Parker is a business leader, advisor and mentor who has experience formulating strategies and addressing mission-critical issues for organizations ranging from government and public sector entities to global private sector firms. Currently, he serves as vice president of Business Services and Strategy for Management Recruiters International Inc. (a division of CDI Corporation, a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners), one of the largest executive search and recruitment organizations in the world, with a global network of 400+ offices across four continents. In his role, he serves as a member of the company’s leadership team and leads the delivery of business-related services and support to affiliated executive search offices and the execution of initiatives focused on operational performance improvement and strategic growth for MRI Corporate. Before joining MRI, Marquis spent six and a half years with Aon plc, a $12B provider of risk management and human capital advisory services, in a number of strategy and business operations leadership roles, most recently serving as a divisional senior vice president of strategy and corporate development. Prior to Aon, Marquis worked for McKinsey & Company, the global management consultancy, where his client engagements covered a range of topics, including post-merger management, organization design, performance transformation, and growth strategy. Following McKinsey, Marquis joined Waterstone Group Holdings, a Chicago-based private equity investment and strategic advisory holding company, where he advised portfolio companies of private equity firms in the Technology and Business Services industries. Throughout his career, he has been recognized both internally and externally for his contributions and accomplishments. In 2014, Marquis was named by Diversity MBA Magazine as one of its 2014 Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executive Leaders based on his professional experiences, educational background, and contributions to the community. Marquis holds an A.B. in Computer Science from Princeton, an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an M.A. in Education from the Stanford University School of Education, and an M.S. in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.
