Marcus is the co-founder and general partner at TXV Partners, an early stage venture capital fund based in Austin and San Francisco. He focuses on consumer, health, and wellness investments, leading the firm’s investment in NameCoach, OneDay, and Future. Previous positions include managing director for the Dallas-based Clubhouse Investment Group, focused on early stage consumer-oriented investments, and work with Vida Capital, a multibillion dollar alternative asset management firm in Austin, where he was responsible for due diligence, investment monitoring, market and industry research of Vida’s evergreen and close-ended funds, as well as serving on the advisory committee of the Vida flagship fund.
A native of Prosper, Texas, Marcus received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton, where he was a member of the football team.
