Dr. Liz is a speaker, author, workshop facilitator and teen consultant whose workshops empower teens to overcome the obstacles standing in the way of realizing their true potential.
A trusted adviser to parents and organizations that work with teenagers, she has led programs for high schools, colleges, and national youth organizations and conferences. She has appeared as a guest on numerous television and radio shows and been honored for her work by several associations and publications including the NAACP, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and NJBIZ, who named her a Healthcare Hero and one of the Top 50 Women in Business.
A board-certified pediatrician and founder of Dr. Liz Consulting, she practiced medicine for over 17 years with the New Brunswick Pediatric Group. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
She is a lifetime Girl Scout and a member of Alpha Kappa Sorority and The Drifters, Incorporated. She has been married for 26 years to her husband, Keith; her daughter, Lauryn, is a senior in film school at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
