Lawrence Otis Graham

Lawrence Otis Graham ’83 was an English major at Princeton and graduated from Harvard Law School.  A New York Times best-selling author of 14 books, he sold his first book freshman year and has a career which allows him to simultaneously practice corporate law in New York, write books on race and class, serve on nonprofit boards and write for TV. His book, “Our Kind of People: America’s Black Upper Class,” is in development with 20th Century Fox. He also has a project with Warner Brothers.

He serves on many nonprofit boards including the Horace Mann School, the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and the American Theatre Wing, co-presenters of the Tony Awards.
