Laurence Latimer

Laurence Latimer is head of Ventures for IEX Group, which operates the Investors Exchange (IEX), a national stock exchange for U.S. equities. Laurence is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, corporate venture investments, business development/partnerships, and internal innovation/research and development. Prior to IEX, he built a career identifying, building, and scaling new businesses and led growth initiatives and new market entry in the U.S., Asia, Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa. He has led product, operations, and business development at several startups. In addition, Laurence has been an angel investor for over ten years and advises several early-stage startups. He began his post-graduate career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Laurence is a co-founder and co-chair of Princeton Alumni Angels of Greater New York and an advisor to the Cavendish Impact Foundation. He is a mentor for the Princeton Entrepreneurial Council. He is chair of Graduate Alumni Annual Giving, vice chair of the Annual Giving Committee, and a co-chair of the Connect Initiative. Laurence is a fellow of the 2019 class of the Aspen Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
