Kimberly Johnson is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Fannie Mae, the Federal National Mortgage Association. She is responsible for leading technology, data, enterprise models, operations, the enterprise program management office and resiliency. She is a member of Fannie Mae’s management committee.
Previously, Johnson served as Fannie Mae’s chief risk officer. Prior to that, she held several key leadership positions at Fannie Mae, including deputy chief risk officer, senior vice president for multifamily capital markets and pricing, and vice president for capital markets.
Before joining Fannie Mae, Johnson was a director in the fixed-income sales group at Credit Suisse, which she joined from D.E. Shaw & Co., where she was an equity trader. She currently serves as a director on the board at Calvert Impact Capital.
Johnson received her bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton and her mater’s in business administration from Columbia Business School. At Princeton, she was a member of the Cap and Gown Club, played on the rugby team, and managed the Student Planner Agency.
She is a native of the Washington, D.C., area and currently lives in McLean, Virginia, with her husband and two daughters.
