Kamil Ali-Jackson '81

Attorney Kamil Ali-Jackson co-founded Aclaris Therapeutics in 2012 and serves as chief legal officer, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary.

Kamil, who has more than 34 years of experience in the legal and pharmaceutical industries, has co-founded several other specialty pharmaceutical companies. Since 2011, she has served as chief legal officer of NeXeption, a biopharmaceutical assets management company, and its affiliates. She also has served as chief legal officer of Ralexar Therapeutics Inc. (formerly known as Alexar Therapeutics Inc.). Previously, she served as legal counsel and as a licensing business executive for pharmaceutical companies including Merck & Co. Inc., Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., and Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Kamil received her law degree from Harvard Law School and bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton. She was a 2011 Philadelphia Business Journal Woman of Distinction winner and a 2015 Pepper Hamilton, LLP remarkable alumna. She has served on several nonprofit boards and is currently on the board of Rosemont College, a private liberal arts college located in Pennsylvania.

Six exciting startups ranging from commercial ventures to social impact organizations will present. Each startup features a Princeton black alumni founder or member in the C-suite. A panel of judges will select the best presentation and the audience will also vote for the “Audience Choice” winner.
