Gabriella Morris is UNICEF USA’s senior vice president of strategic partnerships. She oversees the Corporate Partnerships and Global Cause Partnerships and Foundations teams in support of UNICEF (the United Nations Children’s Fund). She previously served as senior vice president of the UNICEF USA (UUSA) Bridge Fund, an innovative financial tool created to fast-track lifesaving assistance to children in need around the world.
Before joining UUSA, Gabriella completed 26 years in senior legal, philanthropic and community relations positions at Prudential Financial. She served as president of the Prudential Foundation and vice president of community resources for 17 years. During this time, she directed Prudential’s philanthropy, impact investments, employee volunteerism, community relations and business diversity outreach. Prior to this, Gabriella was a real estate attorney at Prudential, serving in various leadership and management roles. She previously practiced law at the Southland Corporation and Baker Botts. She received her law degree from the University of Texas.
Gabriella has served on many boards, agencies and committees. She currently sits on the boards of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Harlem School of the Arts, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center Women’s Association and the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.
Gabriella’s interest in philanthropy stems from her first volunteer experience at the age of 9, supporting her mother in launching a pilot Head Start program in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
