Cheryl Scales

Cheryl Scales is a connector and innovator, who, through her firm, Cheryl Scales Innovation Group, consults with executives, entrepreneurs and businesses, small and large. She provides coaching on strategy, design thinking, business development, revenue generation and community engagement. Her client portfolio includes celebrity television personalities, authors, C-suite executives and professionals.

Her business has been selected twice as White House Community Leader for Business Innovation and Sustainability, and she has been recognized as an NBC top entrepreneur and featured on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Cheryl is a sought-after speaker and author of “Take It to the Next Level: Finding Money, Making the Pitch, and Sealing the Deal” as well as a featured contributor in the book, “Instant Strategies to Cash.” In addition to her Princeton bachelor’s degree, she holds Harvard professional certificates in innovation, strategy, and top talent.

Cheryl is a dual-industry entrepreneur, also leading her commercial construction firm, 1st Urban Group, to transform spaces. Clients include the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church Education Building with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s pastoral office. The firm was selected a Top Three Finalist for the 2019 Georgia’s Government Contractors Association Capability Platform.
